Berrocal Obando & Associates was founded by Dr. Fernando Berrocal Soto, whom amongst other charges, held the following offices:

Ambassador before the Soviet Union with headquarters in Moscow from 1974 until 1978, during the administration of Oduber Quiros.

Joint Secretary of the Latin-American Economic System of the UN in Caracas (1978-1982).

Minister of the Presidency during the Monge Alvarez administration (1982-1985).

Ambassador for the second time before the United Nations, time during which he placed our nation in the Presidency of the “Grupo 77” (77th Group), and as a President of the Security Council of the United Nations during the Figueres Olsen Administration (1994-1998).

Minister of Security during the Arias Sanchez administration from the year 2006-2008.

Dedicated to providing legal services and in the development of businesses, BO&A changes the concept of traditional law-practicing by turning it into a business development and support tool for the client, also providing services in for litigation matters.

Through many strategic alliances BO&A provides other services outside of our specialty, providing the client with a “one point” source for most of their needs.
